SLPA in Extreme Northern Luzon

Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration's morning forecast shows a shallow low pressure area (SLPA), estimated based on satellite and surface data at 1,135 km East of Extreme Northern Luzon (19.5°N 134.4°E).
Due to the weather system, the whole country will experience partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the East to Northeast over Mindanao. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
