Another suspected drug pusher slain in Bataan buy-bust

DINALUPIHAN, Bataan – A suspected drug pusher was slain, the second here this week, during bust-bust operation on Sunday dawn.
Police Chief Insp. Eduardo Guevara, Jr., Dinalupihan police chief, said Emilio de Leon of Barangay Saguing here was gunned down after he tried to fight it out with police.
Report showed that de Leon arrived on board a motorcycle at about 12:05 a.m. to sell shabu to a buyer at a designated spot in Saguing.
De Leon apparently sensed that he was dealing with a police officer, pulled his handgun and fired but missed at the police-poseur-buyer.
This prompted back-up operatives to retaliate and killed suspect, the police chief said.
Scene of the Crime Operatives are still conducting investigation on the type of handgun and number of sachet of shabu seized from the suspect.
De Leon became the second drug suspect this week in buy-bust conducted in Dinalupihan after the Philippine National Police revived its double barrel project, now known as double barrel reloaded.
On Wednesday night, police killed Mark Anthony Poncio after he allegedly fired first at operatives during buy-bust in barangay San Benito, in this town
Recovered from Poncio were a caliber .38 revolver with two spent cartridges and nine heat-sealed plastic sachet believed containing shabu. (PNA)
