DFA launches New Passport Tracking Service

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Office of Consular Affairs launched the new Passport Tracking Service (PTS).
According to DFA, the PTS was the proposal of the Consular Affairs Office so that passport applicants will no longer have to go to DFA office just to follow up on their passport application statuses.
With the new system, applicants can now visit the DFA website dfa.gov.ph, then click the PTS icon and input basic information such as full name, date of birth, contact number, date of filing, and amount paid.
After two working days, applicants will be able to get updates on the status of their passport applications via text message or email.
