In the midst of the hustle and bustle of modern life, does anyone really have time to accommodate a love life? That is the basic question that would make you realize that hiring a "Romance Secretary" wouldn't be a bad idea.
Amongst the countless of services provided via Internet, dating services is the third most popular service in the world followed by music and games. In the past decade, the rate of growth of online dating services was 154% per year. It is not a wonder that business in online dating would be competitive.
27-year old Bianca Caampued and 24-year-old Aaron Small are one of the millions of newly couples who go online in search of dating services when they came across an applicant to their ad they put up on Craigslist, just a few weeks into their dating phase.
Then unemployed Brenndon Knox was the applicant not only offering dating advice, but also services in date planning and arranging and even reminding them to respond to each other's text messages.
"I manage their schedules, I come up with fun, interesting date ideas, I do some light message relay," Knox, 25, told Headline News.
An example of a fun date he was able to make up for the busy couple was a half hour bonding time walking through a Whole Foods grocery store. "They like doing things that are really out there, they're an adventurous couple," Knox said.
Reminding the couple to keep in touch is just part of it, Knox also "plays middleman between the two, passing along cute messages," according to HLN, so that the other doesn't have to feel like they're annoying in any way.
So far, this couple is Knox' first and only client though he hopes to expand his business to a whole new level in the future.
