22 of 33 senatorial candidates get Comelec notice on illegal posters

Twenty-two out of the 33 senatorial candidates have received notices to remove illegal campaign paraphernalia, the Commission on Elections said Wednesday.
The top violators of the campaign rules include Liberal Party senatorial bets Risa Hontiveros, Bam Aquino IV and Rep. Sonny Angara – all with three notices each – followed by Antonio Trillanes IV also of LP, Francis Escudero and Rep. Teddy Casino with two notices each, Comelec said.
The other senatorial candidates that were given notices are: Jamby Madrigal, Koko Pimentel, Nancy Binay, Jack Enrile, Edward Hagedorn, Miguel Zubiri, Cynthia Villar, Alan Peter Cayetano, Dick Gordon, JV Ejercito, Eddie Villanueva, Margarita Cojuangco, Gringo Honasan, Loren Legarda, Grace Poe and Ramon Magsaysay Jr.
Meanwhile, 20 partylist groups were given similar notices, with Kabataan, LPG Marketers Association and Buhay topping the list of campaign violators. (PNA)
