Rotational brownouts resumes in Davao del Sur

After the seemingly 'normalized' power supply last Elections, rotational brownout is now back at Davao del Sur.
According to Engr. Godofredo Guya, general manager of the Davao del Sur Electric Cooperative (DASURECO), the power interruption was caused by the shortage of power supply coming from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
NGCP has proposed a new schedule for the rotational brownout; from dawn or after 12 midnight, instead of the usual 6pm or 9pm wherein most residents and businesses are still using the electricity.
Guya apologized for the inconvenience that the scheduled brownouts in Davao are inflicting to the residents and told the public that these efforts are to address the power shortage in the province.
