The Philippine national men's softball team, or Blu Boys, absorbed back-to-back losses in the continuation of the 2023 Men's Softball Asia Cup on Monday, June 26, in Kochi, Japan.
Filipino sluggers failed to maintain their immaculate 2-0 record after Singapore and Japan defeated them on Day 2 of the softball festivities in the Land of the Rising Sun.
Blu Boys opened their June 26 schedule with a 9-5 loss over the Singaporeans before the host blanked them via a 6-0 score.
They now had an even 2-2 win-loss card ahead of their clash versus Hong Kong on Tuesday, June 27, at 8 a.m.
Last Sunday, the nationals beat India and blasted Chinese Taipei for a strong start in the competition.
