The Philippine men's national volleyball team (PMNVT) ripped Macau, 25-21, 25-15, 25-14, to open their 2023 Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Challenge Cup for Men campaign at Taipei Gymnasium on Sunday, July 9.
The Philippines joined Mongolia in the Final 12 round, as both teams defeated Macau.
Mongolia dealt Macau a straight-set beating, 25-14, 25-20, 25-19, on Saturday.
Only the top two countries in the three-nation Pool D will qualify for the next phase.
Macau fell to the 13th-15th classification round.
Philippines and Mongolia will go head-to-head on Monday, July 10, to determine the group winner for a better placing in the Final 12.
