Radyo Natin Nationwide honors 12 winners in maiden Excellence Awards

Radyo Natin Nationwide successfully held its first-ever Radyo Natin Excellence Awards virtually on the momentous Friday night of December 15, 2023.

Streamed via Facebook Live in Radyo Natin Nationwide's official Facebook page and on air through over 100 Radyo Natin stations, the ever-supportive online audience and listeners got to know the 12 best personalities, programs, and stations across the Philippine archipelago.

Awards are divided into three categories: individual, program, and major.

For the individual category, Adonis Soratorio of Radyo Natin Calapan, Oriental Mindoro bagged two accolades in Best Magazine Program Host and Best Newscaster.

Radyo Natin Boac, Marinduque's Carlvin Russ Par took home the Best Music Radio Jock title, while Radyo Natin Guimba, Nueva Ecija's Vermarie "Armi" Carranza and Juan Manuel "Diego Poklong" Herrera won the Best Field Reporter and Best Public Affairs Program Host plums, respectively.

In the program category, Radyo Natin Bongabong's Good Morning Ormin emerged as the Best News Program winner, while Radyo Natin Calapan's Radyo Natin At Your Serbis is named Best Public Service Program.

Moreover, Best Public Affairs Program citation went to Radyo Natin Guimba's Guimba Ngayon – Walang Kukurap while Radyo Natin Laoang, Northern Samar's 3K – Kwentuhan, Kwentahan, at Kantahan, and Radyo Natin Tacurong, Sultan Kudarat's Eskuwelokohan claimed Best Magazine Program and Best Entertainment Program.

Meanwhile, Radyo Natin Calapan copped the two major awards after winning the Station of the Year, while Adonis Soratorio clinched Broadcaster of the Year.

Inspired by the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) Golden Dove Awards, the Radyo Natin Excellence Awards is staged to recognize exceptional achievements of over 100 Radyo Natin stations, as well as provide exclusive awards to honor the greatness of local Radyo Natin personalities, programs, and stations.

Before the winners' announcement, nominations are opened to Radyo Natin personnel, listeners, and the public before undergoing multiple screening rounds that led to the selection of 48 finalists in all three categories announced last December 7-9.
