A 60-year-old wins Miss Universe Buenos Aires

For the first time in Miss Universe Buenos Aires's history, a 60-year-old lawyer and journalist won the title.
"I am thrilled to be representing this new paradigm in beauty pageants because we are inaugurating a new stage in which women are not only physical beauty but another set of values," said Alejandra Marisa Rodriguez.
"I am the first of this generation to start with this," she added.
Rodriguez is preparing for the upcoming Miss Universe Argentina, which is scheduled for May 2024, where she will represent Buenos Aires.
If Rodriguez successfully wins the title of Miss Universe Argentina, she will be the one who will represent Argentina in Miss Universe 2024 which is scheduled on September 28, 2024, in Mexico. (John Edmar David)
