Kemba Walker retires after 12 NBA seasons

ISTANBUL – Kemba Walker, a four-time All-Star, has retired as a professional basketball player after a 12-year NBA career.
"Basketball will forever be a part of my life so this isn't goodbye. I'm excited for what's next," Walker said in a post on X on Tuesday.
"This has all been a dream. When I look back, I still can't believe the things I achieved in my career," he said.
Walker was selected for the All-Star team four times in his career and averaged 19.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 750 career games.
In his career, the 34-year-old guard made appearances for the Charlotte Hornets, Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, and New York Knicks.
He spent this past season with French side Monaco. (PNA)
