Seagull in Massachusetts steals man's wallet

A man in Massachusetts shared that he was loading his groceries into his truck when a seagull snatches his wallet in the tray on the top of the shopping cart.

Noah Karberg, Nantucket Memorial Airport manager, said he made a quick grocery trip at Stop & Shop after fishing on an island.

"I was in a fishing shirt and board shorts, so no pockets," he said in an interview.

Karberg said that he was taking the last couple of bags around to the backseat, come back to the shopping cart, and a gull is sitting on the cart, and right in front of him, grabs his wallet, then flies away

He also said that he could capture a video as the seagull flew away, went to a roof near a carwash, and went through the contents of his wallet.

Meanwhile, Kranberg asked for help from their community by posting an announcement in a local Facebook group that stated: "A seagull stole my wallet from the cart in a Stop & Shop parking lot. It was last seen in the airport, gas, and Stop & Shop area."

He offered a $100 cash reward in return of his cards and license.
