'Klockwise' ready for Red Bull Dance Your Style World Championships

MANILA – Valenzuela dancer Kenneth "Klockwise" Martinez is ready for the challenge in the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Championships to be held on Nov. 9 at the NSCI Dome in Mumbai, India.
Martinez earned a spot in the World Championships after topping the National Finals at the Kilometer Zero in Luneta Park, Manila last Sept. 28.
He beat 15 other dancers from all over the country. With his masterful freestyle performances with just the right amount of theatrics, he captivated the crowd.
"I am bringing the Filipino dance community and the whole Philippines with me," said Martinez, who will be up against 49 of the world's top dancers.
"I will show who I am, who Klockwise is on stage. It'll be like, I will have my own concert at the World Finals," he added.
Red Bull Dance Your Style is a unique global 1-on-1 dance competition that challenges dancers to bring out their most impressive and most captivating improvisation and freestyle skills.
Dancers creatively come up with their moves spontaneously to random, unpredictable hits from hip hop, disco, funk, pop, rock, and more.
Unlike other dance competitions, Red Bull Dance Your Style gives the audience the power to decide who wins each battle round, inviting dancers to embrace the moment, feel the beat, and captivate the crowd. (PNA)
