Comelec to conduct voter education nationwide

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is set to conduct a nationwide voter education roadshow starting Monday, December 2.
This is in preparation for the May 12, 2025, National and Local elections as well as the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Parliamentary Elections.
The roadshow aims to include demonstration of the automated counting machines (ACMs) so voters could familiarize themselves with the technology.
According to the poll body, old and newly registered voters would be able to experience how the ACMs are used.
Further, according to Comelec, there are now 68.8 million registered voters, though the target was set to 70 million.
