PH team wins grand champion in MLBB for 5th year

Filipinos are once again proud as a team from the Philippines, Fnatic ONIC PH (FNOP), topped all the other teams during the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M6 grand finals Sunday in Malaysia.
The team battled it out against Team Liquid ID (TLID) that represented Indonesia 4 to 1.

The MLBB M-series world championships are held yearly. Since the M2, Philippine teams have been the winners. An Indonesian team, EVOS Legends, won at the M1 in 2019.
The other Filipino teams that won were: Bren Esports at the M2, Blacklist International at the M3, ECHO at the M4, and AP Bren at the M5.
The prize pool for this year's championships was at USD1 million.

Grant Duane Pillas AKA as Kelra was declared Finals MVP and won for himself an additional USD5,000.
Another Filipino team that made it to the M6 was Aurora MLBB. Aurora is a newly formed team, formed in July 2024, and immediately represented the Philippines at the M6 following the regular season. Ironically, Aurora was eliminated at the M6 by TLID.
