TD Querubin becomes LPA

Tropical Depression Querubin has weakened into a low pressure area (LPA) Wednesday afternoon.

This was announced by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

According to the state agency early Thursday, they are expecting heavy to intense rainfall in Sorsogon, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Samar, Biliran, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte today due to the LPA and Shear Line.

Moderate and heavy rainfall are also expected in Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Masbate, Cebu, Bohol, Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, and Surigao del Sur.
