DOH: purchase booklet no longer needed

Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa has announced that the purchase booklet needed by senior citizens in order to avail of the 20% discount on medicines are no longer needed.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) Monday, Herbosa said that he has signed a new Department of Health (DOH) administrative order to remove the requirements of a purchase booklet for senior citizens to avail their discount on medicines following the Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010.

Herbosa also added in a statement that he, too, is a senior citizen and he knows how hard it is to always bring a purchase booklet. He also said that seniors need the discount on their medicines.
