Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. wants to make sure that the proposed 2025 General Appropriations Act (GAA) agrees with the Constitution.
In a statement Thursday, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin said that the budget for 2025 is going through an exhaustive review to address the allegedly unconstitutional items.
This statement came after calls to remove the unconstitutional allocations were raised before the scheduled signing on Dec. 30.
Bersamin added that the president "has been most prudent in programming and spending our limited fiscal resources."
