US Supreme Court allows Trump sentencing

The US Supreme Court denied a last-minute bid by President-elect Donald Trump to halt the sentencing of his hush money case Thursday.
The court said that it will allow Trump to attend the sentencing virtually.
Trump is scheduled to be sentenced at 9:30 am Friday (10:30 pm Philippine time) after being convicted of falsifying business records to cover the hush money payment to Stormy Daniels.
Trump won the US presidential elections last Nov. and will be sworn in as president on Jan 20.
