A 22-year-old man from Italy has recently tattooed the barcode of his COVID-19 vaccination certificate on his arm so that it will be easier for him to enter public areas.
Andrea Colonnetta said that he wanted to do something original that is why he decided to have his 'Green Pass' QR code tattooed on his arm through the help of the tattoo artist Gabriele Pellerone.
"It's certainly something original, I like to be different," he said.
Colonnetta's unique tattoo design went viral on social media wherein in some of the video, it can be seen that a friend of Colonnetta was scanning the QR code on his arm and it successfully worked which reflects his proof of vaccination.
The government of Italy is implementing the use of 'Green Pass' QR code which could be in the form of digital or paper which reflects if a person has been fully vaccinated or not, and has tested negative or recovered from the COVID-19.
The use of Green Pass has been in effect since August 6 in gyms, swimming pools, museums, cinemas and to eat indoors at restaurants.
