Guinness World Records awarded Christie Chandler and Senecca Corsetti from Utah for getting the world record of the greatest height differential of a married couple (same sexes/women).
Chandler stands at 5 feet, 11.74 inches tall while his wife, Corsetti measures 3 feet, and 2.29 shared that they met each other at a school wherein both of them are teachers.
"Corsetti has a form of dwarfism known as diastrophic dysplasia which affects the normal development of cartilage and bone," according to Guinness.
The couple said that they felt motivated to apply for a record after discovering the world record for the greatest height differential of a married couple (different sexes/taller woman).
"I was like 'Oh my gosh, we crushed that record'", Chandler said to Guinness.
Also, Corsetti and Chandler said that they never thought they will achieve a Guinness World Record. "We had joked about it, but we were never serious about trying to get a title or anything," Corsetti added.
Meanwhile, the couple said that they wish that their world record could encourage other people to embrace diversity. (KBAPI)
