A man in the United States recently went viral online after inventing a motorcycle that can be powered using beer instead of fuel.
Ky Michaelson has previously created a rocket-powered toilet and a jet-powered coffee pot. Michaelson said he uses a 14-gallon keg with a heating coil to power the motorcycle.
He explained that the coil heats the beer up to 300 degrees, and when superheated, it provides enough energy to propel the bike forward.
"The price of gas is getting up there. I don't drink. I'm not a drinker, so I can't think of anything better than to use it for fuel," said Michaelson.
"One thing about this motorcycle is definitely different, and I like to be really creative. Do things that other people have never done in the past," Michaelson told Fox9.
According to Michaelson, his beer-powered motorcycle can reach speeds of up to 150 miles per hour (240 kilometers per hour). He has already participated in local car shows, winning first place.
Meanwhile, Michaelson plans to conduct some test runs on his motorcycle and potentially place it in a museum at his home.
"We're right in the early stages, but we got it. We got it built, and I think it looks pretty cool," said Michaelson.
