Authorities dissolved a drug den and arrested three individuals during a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Lazaro in Victoria municipality, Northern Samar.
The suspects were identified as Irene Sartario, the drug den maintainer; Bonjo Fuentes, the co-maintainer; and Denmark Bautista, the customer. They are residents of the said barangay.
The Northern Samar Provincial Police Office-Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Provincial Intelligence Unit, Allen and Victoria Municipal Police Stations (MPS), and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 8-Northern Samar Provincial Office conducted the operation on May 19.
Seized from the suspects were six sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth) weighing ten grams, with an estimated street market value of 68,000 pesos, and other drug paraphernalia.
The suspects are detained at Victoria MPS and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Reported by Joyjun Balerite Acol/90.9 Radyo Natin Laoang)
