Sebastian Rasmussen and Christian Rontini delivered two late goals for the Azkals to defend their home pitch against the Lions of Khorasan.
This is the perfect bounce back for the nationals that ended up leveled versus Chinese Taipei, 1-1, in their first September 2023 FIFA international friendly match.
No rest for the Philippines as Hans Michael Weiss and his players prepare for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup 2027 joint qualifiers starting this November.

More than a month ago, the University of Cebu graduate suffered a close 13-12 hill-hill defeat in the European Pool Championship finale, facing Spain's David Alcaide.
The 25-year-old rising star joined the China Open four years ago and lost the trophy to hometown bet Wu Jiaqing.
