British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran recently revealed that he was written a new song for the K-pop supergroup, BTS.
In what is believed to be a slip of the tongue, Sheeran said during his interview with the American radio show Most Requested Live that he has just "written a song for their [BTS] new record."
"I've actually worked with BTS on their last record, and I've just written a song for their new record. And they're like super, super cool guys as well," the singer said.
BTS' company, Big Hit Entertainment has also confirmed the British singer's revelation saying that Sheeran is "participating" in BTS' new song, as reported by Soompi.
However, no further detail about the song has yet to be released.
Sheeran has previously worked with the seven-member band where he co-wrote the song "Make It Right" which was featured in BTS' 'Map of the Soul: Persona' in 2019.
Following his years-long hiatus in the music industry, Sheeran has just recently dropped his new single "Bad Habits" on June 26.
During his music break, Sheeran welcomed the birth of his first child, Lyra, with wife Cherry Seaborn.
