Connie Stevens once said that "nothing you wear is more important than your smile," and that can't be truer.
A simple smile does wonders for oneself and others. Studies have claimed that smiling offers benefits such as a mood booster that helps our bodies release endorphins and cortisol. This in turn strengthens our immune system, helps reduce blood pressure, and stress.
So, for a bigger smile try to incorporate eating these foods that help brighten our teeth.
According to HealthLine, strawberries, watermelon, pineapple, papaya, and milk are foods that help to naturally brighten our teeth.
These foods are said to contain compounds such as malic acid, bromelain, papain, and casein which are known as tooth lightening properties.
Meanwhile, if you're a fan of drinking coffee every day you might want to lessen that as it can cause discoloration. You can prevent further tooth discoloration by limiting tooth-staining foods and drinks such as:
• dark berries
• tomato-based sauces
• curry
• coffee
• black tea
• red wine
• dark cola
• fruit juice
• energy drinks
Another remedy to achieve that white smile, includes brushing your teeth with baking soda. To use baking soda, simply mix equal l parts water and baking soda to make a paste and brush you teeth for about a minute and spit our excess residue.
