Midas, the cat from Ankara, Turkey was born with two sets of ears and a defective jaw went viral on social media, after her pet parent, Canis Dosemeci uploaded a photo of her on the internet.
Dosemeci said that the four months old adopted Turkish cat had over 73,000 followers on social media and they love Midas despite its unique condition.
"We have never thought of buying a cat, we just wanted to rescue a cat from the street, and we wanted to adopt her," she added.
Veterinarian Resat Nuri Aslan said that Midas' condition may be uncommon but it does not affect her health and hearing.
Meanwhile, Dosemeci said that she hopes that Midas' case can encourage other people to adopt pets instead of buying from stores. (KBAPI)
