Having an animal as a pet can help someone who may be suffering.
Dogs have been known to help veterans cope up with stress.
But some veterans who may be suffering posttraumatic stress disorder or PTSD have options other than traditional treatment and medication.
It's called wolf therapy.
At Lockwood Animal Rescue Center, veterans bond with wolves who help them cope up with their illness.
According to Wikipedia, posttraumatic stress disorder is a mental illness that can develop after a person is exposed to one or more traumatic events, such as sexual assault, warfare, traffic collisions, terrorism or other threats on a person's life.
